Meet Eric, AKA PedalHomie, a fellow adventure lifestyle photographer focusing on people on bikes! We met up to hang out, talk about photography, and exchange a few photos - I got some great portraits in return!
We spent a long time talking about the outdoor industry - what it is, how we fit in, what we want it to look like. We both want to contribute to creating change in adventure media, storytelling that centers our community, and people creating change. Authentic media is more than just who's in the final photos, it also encompasses the people behind the camera, the creatives, the directors, producers, editors, the ones who pick the story, who understand the nuance and details, and the relationships between those in front and behind the camera.
