In a world that often overlooks the importance of representation in outdoor spaces, Wondery is taking a bold step forward by celebrating and uplifting community groups that have traditionally been underrepresented and overlooked. Through their campaign with Black Girls Trekkin (BGT), a a nonprofit uplifting Black women in outdoor spaces, Wondery is contributing to their larger mission to change the narrative of who belongs and who is welcomed in the great outdoors. This campaign, centered on capturing the wonder and joy of the outdoor experience, goes beyond traditional marketing – it's about making a tangible difference in the lives of those involved.
The heart of this campaign lies in celebrating the joy of outdoor adventures and the strength of community. It's not just about showcasing products; it's about capturing the spirit of togetherness and the joy and healing that nature can provide.
The photoshoot took place against the breathtaking backdrop of Zion National Park, a place known for its awe-inspiring beauty and natural wonders. Zion provided the perfect canvas for this celebration of the outdoors. The campaign featured the Wondery Performance Set - the All Day tank and Terrain shorts - all styled and modeled by members of Black Girls Trekkin. These pieces of outdoor gear were not just fashion statements; they were tools that facilitated the adventure, enabling the women of BGT to fully immerse themselves in the experience. Throughout the campaign, the focus was on highlighting the various pockets, loops, and features of the Wondery Performance set. This was more than just a fashion shoot; it was a showcase of how functional and practical outdoor gear can enhance the outdoor experience.
What truly sets this campaign apart is the commitment of Wondery to make a difference. It's about more than just marketing products; it's about changing the narrative surrounding outdoor spaces. By financially supporting and uplifting local affinity and community groups, Wondery is actively contributing to a more inclusive outdoors and reminds us that outdoor spaces are for everyone. By working together, we can create a world where everyone feels welcomed and celebrated in the great outdoors.
